Thank you to all of the parents who came to the Reading Sufficency Act meeting yesterday. As you can tell this new law is going to put some teeth to the way we teach reading and make sure that kids are reading correctly and on grade level before they move on. The last thing a teacher wants is for a student to fall through the cracks, and this will help prevent that from happening. If you have any questions please don't be afraid to ask. We had a great time at the fair this morning! We got to see things that our classmates have entered and what people from all over the county had entered. We ate popcorn and had a good time on the bus. Thank you to the County Fair board for putting on a great fair every year, it's nice to take a morning off and see something new every once in a while. I hope you all had a great Labor Day Weekend, I spent mine in Tulsa with Family. It was a nice refreshing weekend to regroup after the fist few weeks of school. Things will begin ramping up, going a bit quicker, and getting harder from here on out. Be ready for the test in Science next week on Monday 9/9. Parents: Please help your student study and show them different ways to study successfully so that they may succeed on the first science test. I know your kiddo(s) will do a great job.
